この曲はあまりに歌詞の意思や存在感が強くてかつ、心がこもった声で歌うからより一層考えさせられる。 メインはEveさんじゃなくて聴いている僕らだと思った。

the Morse code says “Urei Nayami” which, can be translated to “Sorrow and agony” which could be telling us the lovers, or whoever’s the high voice, feelings as the ambulance comes, they’re feeling sorry for Leo and starting to blame themselves, and agony, saying how they’re agonising over the fact that Leo’s dead and they couldn’t do anything to stop him from committing suicide in the first place. Or another theory I have is that, the Morse code is Leo’s final words in the form of him possibly tapping the ground with his finger, because “Urei Nayami” can also be translated to “Sorrow and Trouble” which could be, as I said before, Leo’s final words, him apologising to his lover, or whoever the high voice is, for being so much trouble to them, trying to let them know it wasn’t their fault he committed suicide.
This song is really unique, even after watching this and read theories many times I still found it really amusing and there's something that I don't fully understand yet. 1. The [Leo] part is really cool and giving a strong impression because Leo when pronounced in Japanese it is read as [Reo] and it rhymes with Japanese verb form [re yo]. In this song, the verb form tells an act of "don't give up" or "please respond". There is a theory that the [Leo] part is words said by the female character so I can understand that the woman must really doesn't want Leo to die and try to save him until the end of the song. 2. at 2:50 Why are there a lot of eyes? Is this is a part where Leo met an angel? [biblicaly accurate one] or is it because a lot of people look at him? 3. Why the smokes have forms like axolotl and Leo's smiling and depressed face? 4. at 3:29 Why the woman shakes and rub her head? Thanks for reading my comments.

god this song is so special to me. its the only thing that can make me cry when all I feel is numbness. in fact it came out very shortly after someone special to me had passed away, and for a while I couldnt process my emotions or grieve properly. but this song had me staying up until 6am just bawling, something I desperately needed to feel human again. thank you eve, ur music will always hold a special place in my heart :)

The art on 1:16 look like spider lilies which are usually used in anime to depict death so that may confirm a bit more about the suicide theories. However, the red spider lilies are what represent "heaven" or "death" but these are white so I don't know if it was intentionally not colored or if they intended to show white spider lilies instead. -- While making this comment, I tried to imagine all the moving white stuff in this video as red. I realized that if that was so, this part in 1:08 looks like someone being depleted of life (blood). And the thing I mentioned about earlier makes more sense. I found your comment interesting so i had to reply! :D Red spider lilies in old Buddhist scripts guide the souls of the dead through the samsara, and are believed to be the flowers of final goodbyes. White spider lily flower has been said to be a sign of rebirth and unfortunate love. In one of the verses he says 生まれよう which means lets be born (i presume "again"), so my take on this is that the song deals with the conflicting feelings of suicidal thoughts. " I wanna be loved, but i also want all of this to end" ^^
